Papa Nui + Burn The Midnight Oil at Mr Wolfs

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Friday 20th December. The event starts at 21:00.

PAPA NUI
Is the ultimate festival band. Oxford-based, their genre-fluid grooves of funk, ska, reggae, blues, Balkan, & Afrobeat always set the dance floor on fire. With their pumping horns, searing harmonica, and ferocious rhythm section, they’ll have you smiling, singing, dancing and diving, leaving completely soul-satisfied!

BURN THE MIDNIGHT OIL
Skimming the surface of blues, folk, country, rock, and pop, Burn The Midnight Oil is a powerhouse trio set to set the night ablaze with their signature sound. Lyrical themes of betrayal, heartache and resilience are driven by thumping basslines, sleazy, Chicago blues harmonica
and Nashville bottleneck slide guitar to elevate their front-woman's songwriting abilities that are charged with powerful, raw expressions and melodies that linger long after the last note fades.
