Irie Fire + EZ Dickens at Mr Wolfs
See event details

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Friday 20th January. The event starts at 21:00.

We are IRIE FIRE, a high-energy eight-piece original reggae fusion band.
We formed in 2016 in the South-West of England and have released a debut EP, album, singles and videos, most recently a new EP and an album on the way. We have had great reactions to our original music wherever we have played, having performed at many venues, supported international artists and played on main stages at festivals around the UK, constantly building our fanbase as we go.
Our line-up consists of Sareii Lennox on vocals, Pete Sharp on guitar and vocals, Jonny Simes on bass and vocals, Abie Evans on trombone and vocals, Rich Evans on sax and vocals, Jay Singleton-Campbell on keys, Youssef Barmaki on percussion and Colin Roche on drums.
Being eight of us, we have an eclectic taste of music within the band, and a vast range of influences such as Morgan Heritage, Katchafire, Tribal Seeds, The Elovaters, Fortunate Youth, Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Skints, Alborosie, The Slackers, The Specials, The Clash, Mad Caddies, Easy Star All Stars, The Cat Empire and The Skatalites to name just a few.
We can promise you a set that will brighten your souls with our luscious vocals, hair-raising horn riffs, shredding guitar solos and the infectious grooves of the rhythm section. With songs full of hooks and riffs and new songs always on their way, we guarantee you’ll be up on your feet, vibing with our reggae beat.

Support from EZ Dickens
Ez Dickens, South-West solo artist and front-woman of festival band Drop in the Ocean, brings her fiery energy and singer- songwriter roots to a fusion of alternative reggae. With her new band bringing her songs to life, Ez’s influences, such as Tash Sultana, Binbag Wisdom and The Undercover Hippy, combined with rhythmic grooves and crafty lyrical content, will leave you uplifted, in deep thought and wanting more.

Door Policy
Last entry with a ticket at 11:00pm, but all tickets holders are welcome to stay for the after show DJ until close. If you are planning to arrive later for the DJs, then payment will be taken on the door.
