A staple band of Manchester’s underground alternative scene, New Luna continue to establish themselves as an act pushing dream-pop and post-indie music in a forward direction. Drawing comparisons to Radiohead, Lift To Experience and The Chameleons, the band introduced themselves with the “brilliantly forward-thinking noisy rock” (Piccadilly Records) of 2016’s self-titled debut EP, while recent singles Opinionated and Knew Too reached #3 and #2 on Hypemachine's Worldwide Blog Chart and gained support from Clash, Dork, It’s All Indie and BBC Introducing, with the latter making Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist.
Alongside call ups to support Happyness, Kagoule, Her’s and Sløtface, the band have performed at a DIY Magazine showcase and featured on bills at YNOT?, ArcTanGent, Truck and The Great Escape festivals. With latest single Red Music leading to being tipped by Paste Magazine as one of the 15 Manchester Bands You Need To Know In 2019, New Luna are set to release a series of self-produced tracks in the coming year.
