James Humphrys + Pippa Dean + Sum of Kaia at Mr Wolfs

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Friday 31st July. The event starts at 20:00.

JAMES HUMPHRYS
James Humphrys bends indie-pop into something raw and unpredictable. With a restless blend of angular grooves, warped textures, and emotional depth, his music explores vulnerability, change, and the beauty in the offbeat. Based in London, his sound pulls from ambient electronica, alt-funk, and everything in between. With Glastonbury sets and BBC Radio 1 spins under his belt, James has spent the past two years off-grid, shaping a darker, bolder sonic world. Now, after a brief release hiatus, he’s ready to let it loose. Music that hits hard, stays strange and refuses to sit still.

PIPPA DEAN
Brummie songwriter Pippa Dean doesn’t look away from the gritty underbelly of life. She balances a smoky, soulful vocal with a sharp lyrical style that oscillates between vulnerability and power. Defined by an intense stage presence and a hardened sense of self, Dean delivers a raw performance that is grounded and unapologetic to anyone willing to listen.
