Amie K combines her love of poetry and the English language with her passion for music to create an ever-changing sound. Matching life's tendency to never stay still, her lyrics and sound are ever evolving whilst maintaining her distinctive Indie Folk style.
Drawing influence from her childhood musical soundtrack featuring Sting, Pat Metheny and Annie Lennox, and merging that with her current musical favourites, such as Half Moon Run and Maggie Rogers, she has a broad spectrum of influence which crosses genres and even includes poetry from the likes of W.B Yeats.
Since starting to write in 2014, Amie K has since played regular gigs in her local area, playing in local festivals, pubs and venues as well as doing live performances and interviews for internet radio stations. She also released her debut EP 'Colours' in early 2016, and is getting ready to release the follow up.
Generally performing as a solo artist she has started a duo with guitarist Joe Harper and taken part in the annual Schtumm Jamboree held at Real World Studios and The Queens Head in Box. She has also performed with her brother as a duo and co-written with country singer Becky Lawrence.
James Baxter: At 21 James was travelling across the United States, spending time in studios from Albuquerque to Los Angeles, taking influence from the deserts and wilderness of the Mid West and West Coast.
Returning to the U.K, James brought back big influences from across the Atlantic, and blended them with his British-born idols. With nods to the likes of James Taylor, Ryan Adams, Paul McCartney, Elliott Smith, Nick Drake and Paul Simon, this Southampton songwriter is set to showcase the technicolour melody and incessant lyricism of his album in waiting.
His first single 'Soap & Water' debuted in the top 10 of the I-Tunes Country charts in late 2017. This summer will see James hit the road to promote his debut release on Mi7 Records.
Jack Francis: In little over a year, Jack Francis has gone from playing his unique brand of Folk/Soul/Americana at small local gigs in his hometown of Southampton, to appearing at major UK festivals such as the Isle Of Wight, Victorious and Stone Free Festival at the O2 Arena.
His debut EP 'The Van Wyck Expressway' has been championed by BBC Introducing, as well as receiving national radio play on Tom Robinson's Radio 6 Music show. His self-titled second EP was released at the start of 2017. The lead single 'Play On' was recorded at The Workshop, Notting Hill in late 2016, and was debuted on BBC Introducing shortly after.
In November, 2017 Jack recorded a new set of tracks at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in conjunction with Mi7 Records that will be released in Spring of 2018"
