SongSmith @Mr Wolf's at Mr Wolfs

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Monday 30th July. The event starts at 21:00.

Sophie Hosken-Taylor: Influenced by an eclectic mix of artists, Sophie Hosken-Taylor has a unique blend of vocal talent and prolific self-accompaniment of acoustic guitar. Having had extensive play on BBC Introducing, BBC Bristol & Somerset; two EPs under her belt and Bath Festival's Young Performer Award in her stride, there remains a subtlety of humbleness around her song writing alongside a force of reckoning that will haunt you long after she's left your ears. Having already garnered support from Oh Wonder's Josephine Vander Gucht, Sophie's one to watch.

Anna O’Mally: Anna is a UK based singer/songwriter from Totnes. Having spent much of her teenage years writing and performing her original songs across the South West, Anna began to develop as an artist by immersing herself in the Bristol music scene. Inspired by her life and the people around her, Anna writes songs that captivate audiences wherever she goes. She has been featured on ITV's This Morning show, BBC Introducing and local radio and press. As well as being a performer and writer, Anna is an advocate for Compassion UK, a charity that is working to combat child poverty across the world. .

Jericho Noguera: is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Bristol, UK. His current music features dreamy acoustic landscapes, drawing inspiration from a number of genres, Psychedelic Folk, Soul and Blues. His recent E.P, Black Lake, blends melodic lines with a careful lyricism, reminiscent of acoustic artists such as Nick Drake. Noguera’s defining characteristic is a versatile 4 octave vocal range.

Following a recent feature on BBC introducing, his music was described as having "Great chords and melodies" along with "Real songwriting promise, he has a real way with words".

His self styled and self produced E.P Black Lake has secured him a recording arrangement for a studio album with producer Paul Carr, shadowed by producers that have worked with James Blake. Recording for the album is set to begin early this year.
