Owl in the Sun
Owl in the Sun is a West-country based six-piece whose original songs blend a range of acoustic and electric instruments with rich vocal harmonies. Described by Bob Harris on BBCR2 as'absolutely lovely! " the band have featured on the BBCR1 playlist ( 'the band is excellent! ' Greg James) and the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury in 2011. Their two self-released albums'Black House' and'Outside the City Way of Things' have met with growing acclaim.

Alexander Michael & The Native Tongue are a six piece Bristol folk rock band - a varied group of musicians with frontman and songwriter Alexander Michael at the centre. Genuinely moving songs delivered at times with vulnerability and at times fierce conviction - combined with fingerstyle acoustic guitar, layered violin and vocal harmony, upright bass, rock guitar solos and full native percussion - make for a truly exciting and unique live act.
