Make Friends + ILL WILL at Mr Wolfs
£3/£4

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Saturday 23rd February. The event starts at 21:00.

••• Make Friends Music •••

Make Friends are a dynamic four piece dispensing progressive indie-pop, laced with infectious grooves, big-crowd sing-along chorus' and ethereal washes of glacial guitar - it all driving forward

their truly original big-stage festival sound. They hail from Bristol where from their Avon-delta home studio they propel forward a sound with echoes of current acts such as Bombay Bicycle Club, Foals, Virginia Wing and harking back a little further, The Police, The Cure, Prefab Sprout. Summer 2018 saw Make Friends head to Geoff Barrow's Invada Studios, Bristol where they recorded

the long-awaited debut EP with acclaimed Everything Everything keys player and producer Pete Sené. In the shadow of Bristol's musical heritage they grappled with new arrangements, complex grooves, stretched chords - inverting what they knew to hone and mould their truly exciting new sound.

•• ILL WILL ••

Hailing from Bath/Bristol, ILL WILL are a 4-piece alternative rock band who craft dark sounds with a blend of 90s grunge and modern UK rock. Frenzied live shows seize minds and advocate movement with fuzz-fueled choruses and riotous rhythms
