Catching Mangoes + Blue Mar at Mr Wolfs

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Saturday 24th September. The event starts at 21:00.

CATCHING MANGOES
Catching Mangoes are a four-piece Rock band, based in Forest Row, Sussex. After meeting at school, they started playing at local events and festivals before starting on the London circuit. The three founding members George, Max and Dan then migrated to Brighton where they continued their musical journey - playing regularly and recording at Brighton Electric Studios, where they recorded their debut album "Kevin's Town" last year. While finding a new style and exploring new ideas with their debut album, they have recently been joined by Alex on Guitar and have hit the post-lockdown gig scene again with a bang. Support has come in the forms of regular airtime on BBC Sussex, Surrey and Kent, Reyt Good Magazine, Clash Magazine and they have played at sold out shows in Brighton (Hope & Ruin), Bristol (Mr Wolf’s), Forest Row (Hop Yard, Swan) and London (Strongrooms).

BLUE MAR
Shining at the forefront of the music scene, Blue Mar embarked on an innovative music career in 2016 and hasn’t looked back since. Blue Mar is a London based artist whose music dances between gritty guitar and nostalgic/vintage sounds. Mar has garnered acclaim from the likes of Earmilk, American Songwriter, Atwood Magazine, Culture Collide, and Variance Magazine, to name a few. His new album “The March Hare” is a mix of powerful guitar riffs and thoughtful soundscapes, accompanied by husky vocals.
