Long Tonic was born in the depths of Cornwall, where they honed their unique take on the indie/blues rock genre amongst the lush landscapes and innovative spirit present in the Falmouth music scene. After moving to Bristol in 2021 they quickly gained a following throughout the city for their high-energy live shows. Screaming guitar riffs and trumpet hooks face off against soulful lyrics about finding your way in a world of chaos, all comfortably nested in the grooviest of pockets.
Their busiest summer to date, 2023 saw the band embark on a UK tour, followed by a number of festivals including Gone Wild, Rock Oyster, El Dorado, Treehouse Festival and Kindred Spirits. The release of their latest single ‘California’’, a middle finger to the hollywood dream, has already been streamed in over 100 countries and been nominated as song of the year by Future Hits Radio..
Equally at home in the studio, the closing days of 2023 will see the boys return to work with long time producer and collaborator Jack O’hea on a new EP ready for release early 2024. Their strongest material to date, they plan to build upon the success of previous releases and connect with a global audience of listeners ready for their fresh take on a good old fashioned rock song.
