See event details

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Saturday 7th March. The event starts at 21:00.

SKANKt formed in 1999 playing support slots for bands such as the Selector, King Prawn and Bad Manners. The band took on headline shows and cemented a place in the thriving UK ska/punk scene of the noughties, playing at some of the UK’s top festivals - back when there only a few each year! They relocated to Bristol and gigged for a while as Waiting for Kate, but in 2020 they added a new bassist and two more horn players. The now 7-piece has a new identity under the original band name. SKANKt play post-ska rock music - what is it? Find out! With songs that are charged with energy and social commentary, SKANKt are the thinking human’s music. Door Policy Mr Wolfs is an 18+ venue, please bring ID. Last entry with a ticket at 11:30pm, but all tickets holders are welcome to stay for the after show DJ until close.
