See event details

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Sunday 5th May. The event starts at 21:30.

THE GREATER GOOD
The Greater Good came together in 2020, bonded by a love of classic and contemporary bands from Cage the Elephant, The Black Keys, The War on Drugs, The Waterboys, to name a few.
Fronted by the uncompromisingly powerful and soulful voice of Huw Eddy, their live show is lauded as a liberating and powerful experience. The late Janice Long stated ‘It’s soulful, psychedelic and he has a wonderful voice’ , when championing the band on the BBC. The bands latest single ‘Old Fashioned Ways’ was also added to BBC Radio Wales A-List for two weeks running.
In the short time they’ve been together they’ve stolen the hearts of audiences from the stages of Tramlines festival, Greenbelt, Beautiful Days, BBC Car Fest, Head for the Hills and in support of Badly Drawn Boy, The Magic Numbers, Will and the People, Tom Odell, to name a few.
Songs of self-discovery, triumph and heartache inspire audiences to throw down their inhibitions. They deliver – live and on record – nonstop, heart-on-sleeve and profoundly emotive moments. Huw & the Greater Good are a band fast gaining momentum as one of the UK’s most exciting acts and have only just begun. With their debut EP released in Spring 2020 taking names in 2022/23. The next 24 months are set to be huge – all for the Greater Good.

CHASE THE WILD
Chase the Wild are a 6 piece indie rock band based in Bath/Bristol. The 6 members draw individual influence from a wide spectrum of music, but common influences include Australian/New Zealand Indie bands such as Ocean Alley, Mako Road and Sticky Fingers, as well as UK/US Indie bands such as the Strokes, Her’s, and Arctic Monkeys. The band draw from the sunny surfer vibes of Australian Indie, and combine them with the slightly heavier UK Indie/alt rock scene, meeting in the middle between Australian and UK Indie music. Chase The Wild perform with infectious energy, which compliments Freddie’s fun, energetic, crowd pleasing vibe as a front man, all combining to create a brilliant show when they’re on stage.
