Wyrd Mons + Stoneface at Mr Wolfs

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Thursday 19th September. The event starts at 21:30.

WYRD MONS
Wyrd Mons are a psychedelic garage rock outfit from Bristol. Influenced by the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, White Denim and old Tame Impala, they blend 60s nostalgia with contemporary rock production - promising a mix of upbeat grooves, infectious riffs and luscious harmonies, encouraging crowds to throw their wyrdest shapes.

STONEFACE
Stoneface are a five-piece band fusing punk rock, jazz rock, and blues rock. Based newly in Bristol, Stoneface create a “volatile style” through a combination of jazz and blues sounds alongside aggressive rhythms and tempo changes, with vocals that swing between bobbing melodies to “moments of anguish and rage”. Their experiments with the punk and blues genre, with inspiration being drawn by each different member from across the musical spectrum, makes them a refreshing and original addition to the Southwest scene.
