YNYS
Ynys (Island) is the project of Dylan Hughes, ex-Race Horses and Radio Luxembourg. As a live 5-piece band their ambitious sound palette combines melancholic harmonies over a soundtrack of 80’s sequencers, 70’s string machines and fuzz guitars.
From Aberystwyth, on the west coast of Wales, Ynys released two albums on Libertino Records (Ynys 2022 and Dosbarth Nos 2024). Albums of off-kilter catchy and melancholic psychedelic pop songs, and both releases generated a buzz with glowing reviews including a 4-star review in Mojo Magazine. Ynys have been featured by the likes of Clash Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan, The Line of Best Fit and God Is In the TV. Festivals appearances include Other Voices, Greenman, In It Together, FOCUS Wales, Sŵn, as well as regular touring throughout the UK.

Last entry with a ticket at 11:00pm, but all tickets holders are welcome to stay for the after show DJ until close. If you are planning to arrive later for the DJs, then payment will be taken on the door.
