HUNNY BUZZ
Few artists can pinpoint an emotion as clearly and honestly as Hunny Buzz's Lydia Read. On Short Black Skirt, the excellent debut single from Lydia's songwriting project and four-piece band, it's as if she's singing about things everyone has felt before but never dared to put in words themselves. It's the stunning culmination of her evolution as a songwriter and artist, which she has been developing for as long as she can remember as a bedroom pop solo project. Recorded at the BIMM Studios with producer Elina Bali, Short Black Skirt is just a drop in the ocean for what Hunny Buzz have patiently been keeping in store. Their songs are for anyone whose felt uncertain and doubtful about their future and had the courage to dive in and choose optimism and love.
DEMPSEY are a 5 piece Indie Pop/Rock band from the South West, bringing heart felt lyricism and catchy hooks to the emerging scene. Forming In Bath, the band draws inspiration from artists such as Sam Fender and The 1975 combining a generational sound that is encouraging frequent live shows as they making their way into the local live circuit around both Bath and Bristol.
