Honey Trap + Holy Flux at Mr Wolfs
See event details

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Thursday 4th July. The event starts at 21:30.

Honey Trap presents a new way to experience live music, blending the journey-like experience of a DJ with the captivating appeal of live musicianship.
The band consists of Aidan Blythe, Owen Blythe and Ben Hughes. Three friends/musicians/brothers who have shared a vision of creating something magical since their early teens.
Each member brings something unique and fundamental to Honey Trap’s creative output. Aidan is an accomplished classical and electric guitarist, having studied it at degree level and gigged extensively in his teens. He uses this experience alongside his skills gained from an MA in Music Composition to curate evocative chord structures which are sprinkled by his knack for dreamy wordscapes. Owen has shown a talent for drumming since his school days which are now outshined only by the power and soul of his voice, he has a BA in Songwriting and uses influences such as Parcels and Thundercat to craft groovy riffs and beautiful vocal hooks. Ben also has a background in classical guitar and brings his experience of Bristol’s dance music scene to the mix.
Together, HT use all of these inputs and combine them with angelic harmonies to create a sonic world that you can get lost in and dance to.
