Cook Father + Shutterdog + Mazaratee at Mr Wolfs

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Thursday 5th March. The event starts at 21:00.

COOKFATHER
Cookfathër are a newly reformed instrumental trio from Bristol, led
by Chris Nesbitt (Guitar) with Ben Wilshire (Bass) and Rob Beresford (Drums). They draw inspiration from a huge range of music, such as 20th century funk legends such as Prince, James Brown and John Scofield. Fusing classic soul, jazz and blues with modern,
big riffs, along with an explicit focus on funky rhythms, Cookfathër are sure to get your toe’s tapping and your head swingin’. Expect solos and big jams.

SHUTTERDOG
"Shutterdog emerged in 2018 - a fresh 5-piece filled with future-soul
swagger. Fronted by the honeyed voice of Amy Greed and crowned by duelling funk guitars, theirs is a high energy brand of groove with a message - breathing life into the 1970s protest song. Already moving minds and bodies in the Bristolian heart of the UK
music scene, Shutterdog will have you dancing for your rights"

MAZARATEE
The Mazaratee are a band from Turin, Italy active since 2016 with some lineup
changes through the years. A sanguine band, that knows the great musicians of the 70's and knows how to mix them with more recent influences. The live concerts' dimension is their favourite and on stage they amaze for the power and joy they show!
