Platoon + Dreamcaster at Mr Wolfs

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Thursday 7th March. The event starts at 20:30.

Platoon are fresh onto the scene, forming while at school. They spent their first year as a band road testing material at venues such as The Camden Assembly, The Amersham Arms and The Tunbridge Wells Forum. They then travelled to Amsterdam’s Ijland Studios to record three singles with Tim Visser and Remko Schouten (Personal Trainer, Bull). Two of these tracks, Your Eyes and Carefree, are now released. The latter earned the boys Abbie Mccarthy’s ‘New Favourite Band’ title on BBC introducing Kent. Inspired by the likes of Radiohead, Blur and The Beach Boys, Platoon like to move around all aspects of indie.
