WELCOME to our 4th Fundraiser, a Costume Party featuring wide ranging sounds from brilliant new bands and established DJs, all enhanced with immersive projected visuals!
Dress Up RUSSIAN GYPSY and join us as we turn Mr. Wolf's into a Russian/Bristolian Disco!
*Skazka*: the English transcription of , the Russian word literally meaning story, but used to mean fairy tale.
Expect: BANDS DJS COSTUME VISUALS
A Dress Up, musical extravaganza with bands from 10pm: Experimental live gypsy Violin and Accordion trip-hop/dubstep from Dustfordonia (FB: /dustfordonia), who's dramatic sounds will lead into the rebellious yet poetic punk-rock noise of Daggers and Waves (FB: /DaggersAndWaves)...
From 11pm you can expect genre bending DJs:
- Hiphoppapotamus (FB: /DJHiphoppapotamus) chopping up old soul, jazz, funk & reggae and infusing them with modern production to craft his own tasty Funk-Soul.
- Digital Funk Pioneer re::form spinning a unique blend of glitch hop, ghetto funk and breaks on the 1's & 2's,
- our Resident DJ Ethan Opez bringing you all-out, booty shakin ragga influenced beats and breaks, all enhanced with a 2 projector set up for transformative visuals!
We are raising funds towards the production costs of our ambitious multimedia orchestral performance enhanced by a film and live theatre show experience, due to hit Bristol in November of this year. We will also be holding a RAFFLE! The lucky winner receives a free ticket to our Final Show....
