Dr. Chonk & The Nature Injection play with the dusty, raw sounds of 70s psych-jazz to imagine a modern, lo-fi soul, taking cues from Cortex, Mulatu Astatke, and more recent artists like Madvillain and Surprise Chef. Dr. Chonk are already emergings as serious contenders in the Bristol scene. On only their second outing, they supported Acid-Jazz legends Azymuth.
