A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Tuesday 4th March. The event starts at 21:00.

Nu-jazz sextet SEMPER (Bristol/London) have been writing and performing together since 2021. All six members of SEMPER respectively draw their influence from an eclectic variety of acts; Alfa Mist, corto.alto, Yussef Dayes, Moses Yoofee Trio, and Eriksson Kaner. Their members regularly play with other musicians in the Bristol and London jazz scenes, rubbing shoulders with contemporaries such as Bristol’s Waldo’s Gift and Snazzback and London’s Neue Grafik, Ezra Collective and others.

SEMPER are made up of some of the finest musicians in Bristol. They are fronted by trumpet player Walter Feeney (Tanhai Collective) and saxophonist James Storm (t l k, Deems Experiment) and are joined by guitarist Ben Nicols-Mindlin, bassist Reuben Reed Sanderson (The Slacksons), keyboardist Tom Wijesinghe (Phil the Print), and fellow Tanhai Collective member Ben Harper on drums.
