With all artworks for sale on the night, come meet these rising stars and immerse yourself in an evening of live music and contemporary art. An event not to be missed!!

ARTIST 1: Jess Bassett // Instagram: @bassetts.allsorts
I am a geology student from the university of Bristol. I make clothes so fabric is my medium I guess? But I've recently been trying to broaden my horizons art wise. I like to use textures and shapes I see out in the field, as well as earthy tones and a dystopian abstract style.

ARTIST 2: Caz Rumjanceva
I’m Caz Rumjanceva, I am currently working on a narrow boat and producing things like earrings, paintings and crochet clothing for sale. Originally moved to Bristol to study travel writing. My original style was hyper realism producing realistic portraiture, objects or landscapes. Bristol has inspired me to look at objects not for what they are but what its’ shape and colour could be part of. I am now trying to unearth my own style in paintings; producing surreal, abstract work.

ARTIST 3: Arisha // Instagram: @arishaa_draws
Hi I’m Arisha, I’m from London, and I study Environmental Geoscience at Bristol Uni. My favourite artists are Dali, Van Gogh, Karen Thomas and M.C. Esher. The medium I like to work with at the moment is acrylic paint but I really like chalk and charcoal too. Charcoal is fun and messy to use and combined with different tones of chalk can be used to create cool monochrome pieces with some great depth. I don’t have a particular art style but my observational skills can (sometimes) translate into semi-realistic pieces. Overall though, I do art because it’s fun.

ARTIST 4: Georgia Pele Hughes // Instagram: @georgiapeleart
I’m a 25 year old artist and SEN teaching assistant from near Birmingham. I moved to Bristol a year ago for a new experience and a culture refresh. I experiment with a lot of different media from textiles to paint, but I love working with acrylic most of all. It meshes with my love for colour and I like the control I have when I use it, perfect as an openly neurodivergent artist. I draw from nature and pop culture and enjoy that making art allows me to share the way I experience the world.
I’m inspired by artists like David Hockney, Michael Reedy, Jaik Olson, Shara Hughes and Otto Dix.
