Dockside Latin Orchestra at The Old Market Assembly

A gig held at The Old Market Assembly on Friday 9th June. The event starts at 22:00.

Dockside Latin Orchestra are a SEVENTEEN piece super slick Latin big band based in Bristol. The South West's finest latin musicians come together this June to play their latest selection of retro and modern big band salsa, mambo and cha cha. With a grand total of NINE horns, THREE singers and FIVE rhythm players, this band will absolutely knock you for...well seventeen!?.

Souring trumpets, rhythmical trickery and melodic mambos will come together in a well organised salsa fury! Including players from Cuba, Colombia and Spain. If you haven't already caught these guys at Ronnie Scotts, Glastonbury or a local jazz festival, this is a rare chance, as it's been three years since their last local appearance!
