We’re kicking PAPAYA off with a full dancefloor and live music from K’Chevere Latin Band, bringing Bristol’s very own brand of Latin joy.

K’CHEVERE 
One of the finest Latin outfits in the UK, and a proper dancing band. This is the good stuff: Afro-Cuban son, danzón and cha-cha-chá, threaded through Latin jazz and salsa. It’s Cuba, Venezuela, Spain and Bristol in one band, and the sound they make together will have you up on your feet and dancing with strangers.

Then DJ KSLICE keeps it going till late. Down from London, the radio presenter and selector plays genre-fluid, percussion-heavy sets - jazz and soulful house sliding into baile funk, jungle and global club. Warm, worldly and built for dancing.
