Aloha tropicalistas, we are very excited to throw our first Tropical Tea Party session since the summer and even more excited to be holding it at the lovely The Old Market Assembly for the first time! We can't wait give this stunning building our tropical makeover and warm your souls, bodies and minds with only the lushest of musical vibes from across the globe!
First acts to be announced are the energetic drum & percussion duo Jibberish Twig with their wild and infectious rhymical fun! And of course our resident DJ Hiphoppapotamus with his high energy sunshine beats from Afro House to Samba Jungle! Still to be annouced we'll have a full live band, a very special guest DJ from out of town and another special guest or two so watch this space!

Coming from Brighton Burland is one of our most exciting new discoveries!! Fusing Ghanain and global vibes with garage and bass music he brings his slick production to rock the Assembly and have his first TTP experience! Check his amazing new release with Zongo Abongo below that has been creating waves across the global scene.
~ Captain Jamaica & The Mellotones ~
One of the finest rootsy reggae and rocksteady bands in Bristol, these guys wil be opening the night up a treat with their delightful reggae covers and good vibes!

Rhythmical wizards Theodore Burn and Jake Madhatter have been playing drums together since they were children and have just completed their most extensive musical adventure to date touring across europe to Croatia and back, playing festivals and busking in countless places winning the hearts and minds of all who consumed their fantastic vibes! With a young but supremely talented energy these two will whip you into a frenzy as they work through their high-energy grooves at their first official Bristol gig!
