Dan Dale's new book 'Gravity' explores scientifically and poetically our relationship with a force first conceived 360 years ago when a chap watched an apple fall from a tree. Inspired by the post-Newtonian writings of Carlo Rovelli's in'Seven Brief Lessons on Physics' Dale takes an interest in discovering 'gravity' through the everyday. A mixture of colour and black and white pictures that survey and ask questions. Some motifs include: waning structures, empty space containment, and existential confrontation.

"Unable to actually observe gravity as a 'thing' but by the effects on other materials, Dale begins to see gravity as a way of processing individuality, through desires, anxiety, or as a being able to gain knowledge from observation.”
