NEB - What next? Let’s make it happen & get organised at PRSC

A event held at PRSC on Monday 6th July. The event starts at 19:00.

Lots of us have seen the film about the National Emergency Briefing. Now is the time to act - and get (even more) organised & take action.

If you have watched the National Emergency Briefing (NEB) film - and even if you have not - and you think that despite all the great work happening in and around Bristol to address the climate emergency that there is still more to be done - then come and join us!

This is the first post-NEB meeting of people who want to come together to be able to find out what others are doing, share ideas for change, find likeminded people for new projects or find new people to get involved in what they are already doing. And hopefully lots of other things.

We don’t have a detailed agenda for the meeting, because we don’t know how many people will be able to or want to join us yet or what people want to use the meeting for.

However, we suggest that

· We start with sharing some vegan food & drink from 1900 to 1930.

· Introduce the people who have been involved in setting up the meeting – ResNet, PSRC and others, who have put on showings of the NEB.

· Share ideas & what is already happening in Climate Action.

· Figure out what we want this and potential future meetings to be about and how this relates to the NEB!

Please note: We have chosen a central venue with good public transport connections, so most people within Bristol have a reasonable chance to attend the meeting. – However, we are aware that The Space does not have fully accessible toilets yet. – Accessibility of future meetings more generally and the potential for online and hybrid meetings would be good to discuss at the first meeting as well.

For reference, if you have not seen the NEB film, here is a link to the national website:
