A ritual through the medium of the puppet mystic: why are humans accross time and lands so drawn to esoteric practices of divination, fortune-telling, and attempting to connect to the 'other side'? This longing to reach without knowing what we may find. The puppet will approach participants, hold her ear to their mouth and recieve whispered secrets, and written folded notes responding to reflective questions and prompts. This ritual, responds to 'the other side' as our most secret fears, desires, and dreams, futures of joy and of trepidation, and the human urge to seek meaning and connection in something greater than our present individual lives. Seeking to summon untold stories and histories, imagined futures, and what place the mystical has in revolution. Small groups and individuals can enter the space on a drop-in basis throughout the two days the gallery is open.
