Join us for a night of spontaneous laughter at The Improv Spotlight. Immerse yourself in the world of unscripted comedy as two talented groups from our vibrant community take centre stage. These groups will weave unique stories, characters, and humour on the spot for your entertainment. The Spotlight highlights the spontaneous comedy of improvised theatre and proudly showcases the diverse skills of local troupes and artists within our community.

Doors at 7pm. Show starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets are Pay What You Can with a minimum of £8.

This month under the Spotlight we have a holiday special! We'll be presenting one-off special festive versions of Bristol improv shows. Local favourites Beansville will be performing their Video Store show with a Christmas movie and 'What Happened In the Interval' will be taking us to a pantomime!

Welcome to the video store at Christmas! Pick your favourite genre, make up the festive movie title you’d like to see, we’ll sprinkle on a little Yuletide magic and improvise the rest. Of course, if the video wasn’t properly rewound last time, we might accidentally start with the final scene… don’t worry, we’ll figure it out.

Bristol-based improvisers Beansville invite you to watch a wholly improvised Christmas movie from the racks of the video store, based on your suggestions.

*What Happened In The Interval*

Two people are about to have their lives changed by the power of Panto. They go and see a Pantomime and something within the show speaks so loudly to one of them they decide to leave halfway through. The show they see affects them so much that they never see the end. We find out how their lives change and answer the question of what happened in the interval.
