The Art of Revolution: the Fascist & Capitalist at Docklands Youth Centre
See event details

A event on Saturday 9th December. The event starts at 14:00.

Please note: This event takes place at DOCKLANDS COMMUNITY CENTRE

Posters were vital in spreading support for the revolutions of the twentieth century. Cheap to mass produce, ephemeral, tied to time and place; many posters have had far-reaching, long-lasting impact

Join us to explore the art and symbolism employed by revolutionary movements through discussion and creation. In this session we will look at Socialist depictions of Fascism and Capitalism, and start making our own art for the cause.

Pay what you can (suggested minimum donation = £7.00 to help cover costs)

No experience, knowledge or artistic talent needed

Basic materials provided, feel free to also bring your own

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
