ROUGH TRADE - Jerry / Birdman Cult / Joy at Rough Trade Bristol

A gig held at Rough Trade Bristol on Friday 13th March. The event starts at 19:30.

Donut Records are proud to present Jerry , Birdman Cult , joy and Holy Popes live at Rough Trade Bristol. Bringing together Bristol and Londons finest Garage rock and post punk under one roof!

Jerry
Jerry have establish themselves in the growing post-punk scene by playing alongside bands such as DUDS, Autobahn, Rapid Tan, The Staches and Haze. Jerry are a myriad of styles, the nearest contemporary comparison would be the sadly gone Evans the Death. Ticked off the list are Bad Manners, The Jam, Madness, Talking Heads, The Futureheads and The Fall. They’re exhilarating and frenetic but so tight and precise, thought out to the nth degree but made to sound like they could collapse and implode in on itself at any given moment. You stand there watching with a ridiculous grin on your face.

New Bristol post-punk, garage rock cultists playing big riff anthems to shake your bits to! described as Lout Rock and Indie doom, The band are building up to a second single release in April and are gathering a rep on the mean streets of Bristol for their energetic live shows.
