Having gained a lot of attention as an established singer-songwriter, some of you may know AUGUST as the Creative Director and Founder of Bristol based vocal collective ‘Bass Choir’.
In October 2021 ever-evolving alternative soulstress AUGUST brought us closer to home through her debut project ‘Got Those Strings’ alongside a sell out gig at the Exchange. A lyrically potent and electronically fragmented body of work.
Featuring production from The 7 Arrows (aka Typesun), the 4-track EP was preceded by lead singles ‘Got Those Strings’, 'You Raise Me' and 'No Release', which garnered immediate attention from BBC Music Introducing ('No Release' was selected as the ear worm of the week), with radio support from Worldwide FM, BCFM, Amazing Radio UK and US - including interest from credible collaborators. 'You Raise Me' was given a spin on Reprezent radio in collaboration with Pirate.com; picked as number 1 in their top 5 tracks globally.
A futuristic yet intelligent minimalistic soul-leaning ode, integrating melodic bass undertones. AUGUST focuses her awe-inspiring vocal talents on a prominent use of thick atmospheric harmonies laced with haunting Soul R’n'B lead vocals, funnelling buckets of sparseness and unexpected musicality into the ears of the listener. A sound described as “…futuristic alternative soul with a dark yet emotive quality, infused with the experimental”
Four track recordings have been written, produced and performed by AUGUST with production from Eusebeia. The next chapter will see the forthcoming EP, set for release on September 30th. ‘Empty Languages’ the leading track off the upcoming EP is out now, as are the striking accompanying visuals.

Eusebeia is an artist from the South West of England whose musical work spans across styles and genres. His long time love of music, and dedication to the craft resulted in his first releases in 2015. As humble as they come, Eusebeia continues to focus on pushing himself, the music and creating a unique vibe.
Birthmark is a producer, DJ and vocalist from the UK, drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences to create experimental, genre bending sounds with an ominous undercurrent of UK dance music. His last performance was in support of Young Echo's return for the launch of the O$VMV$M and Franco Franco LP.
