Events on Friday 30th September
“The Stokes Croft Archive is a trip through Stokes Croft’s history, told through the objects that we normally cast aside. From gig posters and protest banners, to meeting notes and drawings, this exhibition charts the major political struggles that have defined Stokes Croft in the past 20 years. In this exhibition we present a curated selection of objects from the archive.”

“In a world preoccupied with technology, painting connects us with our basic self expression. I am not interested in painting something that already exists. I try not to recreate an image. Instead, I may use it as a reference point from which to move on.”

“Live on stage, Ottolenghi and Murad will take you through their latest OTK cookbook, Extra Good Things, and the ways in which everyday ingredients can be transformed into dishes with oomph. With a little Test Kitchen magic, they will share ideas for flavour-packed sauces, sprinkles, and condiments that all lend a little something extra to your next meal.”

“Irregular Patterns: We are a development label operating on a not-for-profit basis. Irregular Patterns turns the traditional record label setup on its head. The inversion can be simply described as: the record label working for the artist. What this means is that artists retain 100% of their rights and royalties and agree to pay Irregular Patterns a share after income is earned - It’s a trust thing. ”
