Fly Anakin is a rapper from Richmond, Virginia, who’s been described by Madlib as “one of the illest MCs”. He’ll be known to Lex followers for FlySiifu’s, his 2020 collab album with Pink Siifu, and follow-up EP $mokebreak. He’s previously collaborated with the likes of Freddie Gibbs, Nickelus F, Evidence, Ohbliv, ANKHLEJOHN and is co-founder of the Richmond rap collective Mutant Academy.
Fresh off of his European tour run with Pink Siifu, Fly Anakin shares new single Ghost. Joined by 106 & Park's seven-time 'Freestyle Friday' champion and Hall of Famer Nickelus F, Anakin's latest offering finds the two Richmond natives trading verses over crisp production from Like (of Pac Div). The single is accompanied with a music video shot and directed by No Fun (Tahjee Wallace & DuctTapeJesus) in which Anakin and Nickelus F’s performances are caught in a spotlight, as cash flutters through the air.
“Anakin’s detail isn’t a skill that could just be picked up from studying the legends of the genre, it’s a gift.” PITCHFORK

Demae Chioma Wodu (fka Bubblerap and ⅓ of Hawk House) is a London-born, singer/songwriter and producer who draws a unique line between the grit of inner-city London soul, interstellar Flying Lotus electronic rushes and the influence of Dilla mixed with flecks of London’s exciting jazz-influenced sounds to make something completely fresh and new.
Her debut solo effort, 'Life Works Out...Usually' was released in 2020 via burgeoning London-based label/movement, Touching Bass and re-established her as one of the most exciting voices within the UK. Over the course of eight tracks, it beautifully unravels like a soulful coming-of-age story celebrating black joy, self-empowerment and life learnings, doubling up as a soothing antidote to the year’s turbulent times.
Demae was previously one-third of hip-hop adventurists, Hawk House, whose introspective, eclectic style was reshuffling the rule book for UK-based rap, quickly making them one of the UK’s most exciting emerging sounds and earning fans from Mac Miller and Ghostpoet to Wretch 32 and Jill Scott.
In a previous life, she also built a notorious reputation and following on Soundcloud for creating imaginative covers, demos and flips of tracks under her Bubblerap alias. From Minnie Ripperton and MNDSGN to Missy Elliott and Andre 3000, the tracks have racked up over a million plays.
In more recent times, she has also become a fundamental part of Fatima’s touring band as a backing vocalist since the release of her much loved second album ‘And Yet It’s All Love’.
