Banish the winter blues and join artists, musicians, poets and the DAN community for a riot of colour and sound at this evening celebration event in the RWA galleries!

Lose yourself in singing and dancing whilst surrounded by contemporary photography from across the African continent in the Africa State of Mind exhibition.

The incredible performers lineup includes:

Batch Gueye (West African Dance)
Cecilia Ndhlovu (Zimbabwean songs in Shona and Ndebele languages)
"//Kabbo Hue (Storytelling with Afrikan Drumming)
Angharad Iris, Baye Ngom, Amien, Rav Sarangi & Richard Davis (Drumming)
Grace Ekall (Cameroonian Dance)
If you want to find some space for reflection, a chance to network and catch up, the side galleries will also be open. There you can see the Refuge and Renewal exhibition which looks at the impact of refugees on British Art.

Delicious Eritrean food will be available to buy from 'Food Without Borders'.

FREE soft drinks and hot drinks and there will be a cash bar.

This is "Doris in the City" at RWA!
