on Sunday 30th November. The event starts at 19:00.
Big Promo Promo invites you to an intimate evening of live music with Noga Ritter and Bjorn Wray-Gough, celebrating the release of their debut collaborative EP Embrace Me.
Join us in Bristol’s acoustically best venue for voice, the outstanding St Stephen’s Church (BS1 1EQ) for a night of music created solely with voice and bass - raw, sensual, and deeply human. An advent of love sorely needed in this world. These songs explore love in all its shades: letting go, surrendering, and opening to the moment. Soaring vocals meet rich jazz harmonies, while the bass weaves groove, melody, and texture into one.
As part of their UK launch tour, with other shows in London, Rockhampton, and Wales, this concert offers a rare opportunity to experience their new music in a setting both sacred and intimate.
We look forward to welcoming you for a night of warmth (blankets provided should heating of this beautiful medieval church not warm your cockles as much as does the music), connection, and soul-stirring sound.
About the Artists
Noga Ritter (www.nogaritter.com)
Noga Ritter is a London-based singer-songwriter whose music blends Hebrew jazz with global grooves, weaving intimate stories in Hebrew and English. Her debut album, Ima (Galileo Music, 2023), won praise from Jazzwise and Songlines and features collaborations with Seckou Keita, Byron Wallen, and Tony Kofi.
Fresh from Brazil, where she recorded with the legendary Chico César and worked on her upcoming second solo album, Noga continues to perform internationally, captivating audiences with soaring vocals, heartfelt song-writing, and a magnetic stage presence.
Bjorn Wray-Gough
Bjorn Wray-Gough’s musical journey is richly diverse, shaping his expansive approach to bass and composition. Growing up surrounded by Caribbean sounds, he discovered Rock and Metal as a teenager, later diving into Jazz and formal studies in music.
With inventive use of extended techniques, Bjorn transforms the bass into a versatile and expressive voice — one that carries rhythm, harmony, and emotion all at once.
Bigbromo Promo promotes global sounds, often with a jazz element, that build community between us.
