“Jazz on a Summers Day, is a "fly on the wall' film of the 1958 Newport Jazz festival, with Dinah Washington, Anita O'Day, Louis Armstrong Mahalia Jackson, Thelonius Monk, Chuck Berry and Many others in the evening. It is widely considered to be the best Jazz concert movie ever made. There will be a bar throughout the evening. The movie which will be introduced by Natalie Davis and Dave Merrick, (Small Days) with spoken word and live music”
