“The St Paul’s riot occurred in Bristol, England on 2nd April1980, when local police raided the Black & White Café on Grosvenor Road. The riot lasted for many hours, fire engines and police cars were damaged, 130 people were arrested, 25 were taken to hospital, including 19 police and members of the press. The riot occurred against a background of increasing racial tension, poor housing and alienation of black youth. As a result of the disturbances local authorities and the national government began to pay attention to these issues.”

“With toys being upgraded, replaced, they are always new and improved, What happens to the older toys that were worn and removed? We’ve adopted them and learned that they put on quite the show, So we’d like it if you’d join us, come in and say hello!”

“The Hempolics return with their sophomore album ‘Kiss, Cuddle & Torture: Volume 2’, due for release on 3rd April 2020, as a CD, 2LP and limited edition coloured 2LP, through their own record label Zee Zee Records via Kartel Music Group.”

“Incredible falsettos, beautiful acapellas - the authenticity of the sublime harmonies of the 60s and 70s - with a huge repertoire including 'Sherry', 'Walk Like A Man', 'My Eyes Adored You', 'Grease', Rag Doll', 'Stay', 'Lets Hang On', ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ before finishing off with headline hit 'Oh What A Night'!”
From: The Jerseys - Oh What A Nite

“Few entities in the avantgarde/experimental underground have been able to evoke vivid visions and sentiments of loss, immateriality, abandon, and boundless ritualistic immensity like San Francisco's dark ambient-doom sorcerers Common Eider, King Eider.”
