Now in its third incarnation, Midsummer Groove Festival is an intimate, Bristol-centric party whose line up features the best in DJs and live music from the Bristol scene. Workshops run all weekend, from yoga to acroyoga, woodblock printing to life drawing. We founded the festival as for friends, by friends, and we continue in this ethos of mutual respect as the party has grown. MSG is a space for everyone to cut loose, meet amaze new people and dance to incredible music.
This year, rather than consecutively releasing “tiers” of tickets at increasing costs, we have chosen to release all our tickets at once. We also wanted to improve our ticket pricing structure so that we don’t price people out, and also give an option for those who can afford it to support us a bit more.
There are no perks or extras on offer with the higher priced tickets. We just ask you to pay the amount that feels appropriate to your circumstances.
The tier prices are as follows:
£160 - Option A - this tier might be for you if you’re financially secure and you can comfortably afford modest luxuries, for example holidays - you don't really have to think about money very much month-to-month.
£140 - Option B - this tier might be for you if you have a reliable income that covers your regular needs but you don’t have loads to spare - for example, you don't really have to think about the costs of nights out but a holiday requires more thought.
£120 - Option C - if the above do not really apply or you're just more comfortable contributing at this level (for any reason)
£70 - Option D - this is for you if you have a low or unreliable source of income, or you struggle to cover your basic monthly expenses. Please note we can only offer a limited number of these tickets - you can only buy one for yourself and they’re on a first-come-first-served basis.
Remember, it's entirely up to you which tier you pick. Please don't worry about buying a higher tier ticket if you'd prefer not to - only contribute at a level you are comfortable with.
Volunteering - If you would like to help make the party happen by joining our volly crew, you'll get a free ticket in return. We have lots of roles available, including build and break crews. Please email [email protected] expressing your interest in volunteering.
