Our legendary monthly live music series returns with the jazz, prog and funk sensation: Halcyon! Followed by resident DJ sets to further the sonic vibrations!

Halcyon (Headline Band)
The Bristol-based quintet Halcyon was formed in 2021 and quickly developed a unique sound in the landscape of the UK modern jazz scene. Mixing elements of avant-garde jazz, funk and experimental prog rock, the band flows between carefully crafted melodies and improvised sections in line with the jazz tradition.
Halcyon are dropping their EP for this show to mark the dawn of a new unforgettable presence in Bristol's blooming modern jazz scene!

Chiedza (Headline DJ)
Hailing from South Africa and with Nepalese roots, DJ Chiedza’s journey into the music world is a vibrant mix of cultural and historic influences. Her sound is a rich blend of her multicultural background. In Bristol, she champions Amapiano - genre that’s more than music - it’s a whole vibe. She also incorporates sounds of UK underground bass music - from UK garage, funky to dubstep. Chiedza’s mission as a DJ is to break barriers, fuse cultures and to create a more inclusive dancefloor

Started and closed with VooKoo resident DJs - Always on hand to keep the energy sky high! This month we have Midnight Groove
