Film-themed Ceilidh at SouthBank
See event details

A gig held at SouthBank on Sunday 22nd May. The event starts at 19:00.

Tickets: £6 concession, £7 online, £10 on the door

Hello y'all,

So if your first question is "What's A Ceilidh?!" then all you need to know is that it's an evening of high energy group dances, taught to the whole group together and danced to the traditional tunes of a live band! You'll be weaving, spinning, swapping partners and most probably getting a bit confused and crashing into each other... Whether you've ceilidhed before or not you will be welcomed at this spirited evening of dance and music!

"But what does 'film-themed' mean?"

It means that we will be playing some classic movie themes whilst you dance some custom film-inspired dances and that we will all dress up as characters from our favourite films. (Please, no baby yodas)
Dressing up isn't compulsory, but there will be a prize for the best costume!

The Southbank Club is a spacious venue with friendly bar staff, a big beer garden, and a good wooden floor for dancing on. It's near Dean Lane skatepark, and about 15 minutes walk from town.

Any questions don't hesitate to get in touch via [email protected]

Lights, camera, action!
