Anwen is a 21 year old songwriter who writes about trying (and failing) to grow up as a queer girl with ADHD. She started writing music aged 17 when she found a guitar in a charity shop after school in North London. Inspired by both Folk and Jazz musicians such as Georgia Harmer, Gillian Welch and Doris Day, Anwen has created a dreamy world of music that is lyrically poetic and harmonically rich. Her EP ‘Little House’ is out now, featuring the track ‘The Weight’ which played on BBC Introducing in the South West.
