17th of July, Trudgeon's Trad Jazz Troubadours will be Launching their self titled album at the South Bank Club in Bristol.

Copies will be available on cd on the night.

A perfect evening for swing dancers and early jazz lovers alike

Trudgeon's Trad Jazz Troubadours are a multigenerational project formed from some of the South West of Englands finest jazzers. They aim to bring the music of the past alive.

Band leader Joseph Trudgeon plays guitar and sings, he is also the current double bass player in The Big Chris Barber band and plays in a score of jazz and blues bands around the country including The Gin Bowlers, Henrys Hot Six, The Old Malt House Jazz Band and The Clay Bottom Jug Busters.

At the show the band will play their new album plus some other choice early jazz

Joe will be joined by these six brilliant musicians who played on the album

Hugh Roberts on Clarinet and Saxophone
Tom Whittingham on Trombone
Paul Archibald on Drums
Mike Kennedy on Bass
Dan Somers on Piano


The show will run as a pay what you feel but 5+ is the suggested donation.
