Hangover Square EP Launch Horizons at Spielman Center, Arnos Vale Cemetery

A gig on Saturday 8th April. The event starts at 19:30.

Hangover Square are an acoustic folk and roots duo. They are Bristol-based husband and wife duo Victoria Bourne and Chris Harper. Two highly experienced professional musicians who have been played widely across the radio including having been playlisted on BBC Radio 2, they have toured extensively across the UK and in Europe.

They will be joined for this beautiful candlelit event by two backing vocalists and percussionists. Alice Human and Patricia Needham.

Victoria’s voice has a classical purity and laser clarity creating poetic structures. Underpinned with her piano and synth parts which blend with Chris’s creative resonator guitar playing, taking in intricate fingerpicking and driving rhythms. Delicate vocal harmonies float over a velvet wash of sound iridescent, cinematic, and rich in texture.

This is their Bristol debut gig in the beautiful Spielman Center at Arnos Vale Cemetery launching the brand new EP 'Horizons' they will be joined by an additional backing vocalist and percussionist.
