The District Showdown IS BACK !!
Presented By The District “brand” a UK based Underground Music Organization.

The District Showdown is a platform curated to involve and encourage people from all walks of life to showcase their talents, connect with industry professionals and ultimately, give rise to the incredible talent within our community here in the UK.
The Showdown Events consist of:
- Three Rap Battles
- One Headline Act
- Two Open Mics / Cyphers
All wrapped up with three generous breaks in-between to allow time for our residential DJ’s “2 Wild & DJ Perks” to spin them Old School Records!

Once the battles are finished, we will open-up the Cypher on the stage for anyone who wants to ‘spit bars’ over the DJ’s beats. So, if you’re an artist looking for a bit of stage time but not feeling the battles – there’s your chance!

We want you to come along, express your art in its true authenticity but of course we must lay out some ground rules:

• There is no Discrimination Allowed
Although this is a battle event, we do not condone any acts of discrimination. This covers Homophobia, Sexism, Misogyny, Racism.

• There is No Violence Allowed
We as an organization do not condone any acts of Violence, Terrorism or Physical Abuse. Any Persons if found guilty will be escorted off the premises and permanently banned from all The District events.
