A
gig
on Wednesday 20th December. The event starts at 19:00.
Come and wander with us...
As we come together to celebrate Winter Solstice/ Yule.
As the seeds lay in the ground resting and the animals are curled up in hibernation the longest night of the year draws in and with that hope is brought. As from this day forward the light will come back a little more each day.
As we gather around the fire of the roundhouse on (almost) the longest night of the year we will be joined by wonderful folk musician/ composer Rosie Brownhill. As well as Yuletide traditions, folktales, poems, festive treats and tea, all to celebrate the return of the light.
Slow down and take in all the magic of the Winter season in this lovely natural setting.
As always, we encourage anyone who wants to share a poem, story or song.
Location: The roundhouse, Springfield Allotments, Knowle
