'Bea is a masterful piece of work filled with musical innovation and pastoral aspiration performed by musicians at the top of their game. All in all a perfect demonstration of exciting and modern classical music.' The Arts Desk, review of BEA, Jan 2018

Spider Music is an acoustic ensemble of Bristol-based improvising musicians from different backgrounds: classical, folk and jazz. They deliberately cross boundaries to create fresh sounds, both gigging and leading workshops for those wanting to explore their musical creativity.

Their eclectic set will include music drawing on Sudanese rhythms, Steve Reich grooves, an Anglican hymn, the number five, Russian orthodox bells and an image of punks in a park. Expect fascinating textures, rich harmonies and some lovely tunes.
