The Blues Happenings specialise in playing for blues dancing groups and events – putting down a solid groove for dancers to follow with short, catchy tunes that don’t out-stay their welcome - providing dancers with a steady rhythm and variety of tempos to show off their moves on the dance floor. We're delighted to be putting on this unique event with the Blue Mondays dance teachers and DJs.

The Blues Happenings have two feet firmly planted in the musical past – playing songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s with the occasional nod to more modern tunes - all played in their own unique, classic blues style. Expect Howlin' Wolf, Etta James, Nina Simone right up to John Mayer and Portishead.
