Winter Solstice Songs at St Anne's Church, Easton

A gig on Wednesday 21st December. The event starts at 19:00.

The Wild Greens Collective celebrates the Yuletide of Olde through traditional folk songs, hymns and originals, honouring the silence, darkness, loss, hope and mirth of Midwinter.

'Winter Solstice Songs' presents a variety of material ranging from rich, acapella six-part harmony to solo and accompanied performances, uniting the voices and playing of Sorrel Wilde, Emily Greenfinger, Imogen Cooke, Celia Turley, Pearl Love, Tom Calladine and Olivia Wylde.

This will be a night to beckon in the returning of the Light and take stock of the teachings Winter's dark days bring... Be sure to also bring along your cosiest clothes, blankets and hot water bottles (it's a cold, old but beautiful building), as well as your loved ones and pocket money - there will be hot mulled drinks, minced pies and Solstice Samosas to buy and enjoy during the interval!

Merry Yuletide One and All!
