MXLX PIANO TRIO + SETH COOKE + LLYR at St Anne's Church Hall, Eastville
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"“This is not your Daddy's jazz”! The DIY shapeshifting dark lord MXLX comes at us in piano trio formation, hammering away in ivory minimalist/maximalist drone bliss with EP/64 dynamo Dan Johnson on blurry sticks and Viridian’s Jo Kelly on double bass. Bill Evans will turn repeatedly in his grave throughout."

SETH COOKE - Big man Seth (local percussion don and stern figure) will array groundwards some cymbals that will arrange themselves godly and sing to you their own secret song it is a very special song that you cannot sing because it is for the cymbals only

LLYR (debut show) - The drums in local shaggs cover band foot-foot is a person and that person is LLYR and it will be micro/macrotonal grinding away on some homecooked instrument called "THE LOG LADY" to welcome you with no small amount of DELIGHT. A modicum of trepidation is advised as given the fact that llyr is a waif, they are also made entirely of vapour and may enter your lungs if approached

The nite finish early at ten o clock so you can either go to one of the several many good pubs in easton or one of the shit ones or alternatively you can go home and ruminate on what you've done.
